We are looking for a Senior QA/Automated Test Engineer, to join our team. The candidate selected will be responsible for performing a range of system and validation tasks whilst providing essential input into requirements capture, test planning, and the capture of test metrics of a leading start-up Financial Services organization. They will also take an active role in test process improvement and actively share knowledge with others.
Duties & Responsibilities:
● Improving our automated test in Cypress (Javascript)
● Creating manual & automated tests for payment gateway and payment page as well as for other internal products (This is a Greenfield Microsoft/Azure-based solution that can use Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS) with an appropriate test framework)
● Cross-browser testing
● WebAPI (.Net Core) endpoint testing
● Gather requirements and write functional specifications for everything: new features, bug fixes, billing system upgrades, etc.
● Break down the specs into DevOps tickets
● Coordinate releases with Engineering, Technical Writers and Marketing
Skills & Qualifications:
● At least 2 years of previous experience in a similar role is required
● Comfortable with testing in an agile environment
● Ability to create and implement an appropriate test strategy for a project
● Able to understand and query databases (SQL)
● Experiences with CI/CD in Azure environment – is A PLUS
● Good English communication skills – verbal & written
● Strong work ethic and reliability
